2010-2011 ranges of 40" LED Televisions that are available now or coming soon
KDL-40NX803 40" Sony LED Television, features Sony's edge-lit backlighting system and Monolithic design, they come with 4 HDMI and 1 USB connection and have integrated Wireless LAN (WI-FI) connection and DLNA compatibility. The Sony KDL40NX803 which has built in light sensors and Motionflow 200Hz refresh technology will be available in the UK from Mach/April 2010
Sony KDL-40NX703B, the next model down from the NX803 still come with many of the same features, including built-in Wi-Fi for easy access to internet content and monolithic design which is 6.4CM's deep. The USB video player is capable of playing AVC, AVCHD and MPEG4 formats and the Sony KDL40NX703B has 100Hz Motionflow technology and will be available from March/April 2010 with the KDL-40NX703WU white version being available later in the year.
KDL-40EX703 40 inch LED TV from Sony uses LED Edge light backlight system and has Motionflow 100Hz refresh technology to smooth out any motion blur. The KDL40EX703 is also Wi-Fi ready and has 4 HDMI connections, 1 USB port which is capable of playing AVC/AVCHD/MPEG4 and DivX formats and 2 scart connectors and will be available from March/April 2010
KDL-40EX603 Sony LED TV being available later in 2010 will feature Sony's LED Edge-lighting system and slim frame design with MPEG 4 High Definition tuner built in and will have 4 HDMI connections 1 DivX capable USB port and 2 scart connectors.
Sony KDL-40LX903 3D LED TV, due later in 2010 this 40" LED TV will be feature integrated full high definition 3D capability, with built in HD tuner and 200Hz refresh technology, the KDL40LX903 will also come with integrated wireless LAN for easy internet access.
Sony KDL-40HX803 3D ready LED televisions are due out in the UK in June 2010, they will feature Sony's Edge LED backlight system but will also come with local dimming technology to optimise the backlight for superb contrast. These 40" Sony LED TVs will be able to view 3D material with the optional upgrade of a 3D transmitter and glasses, they also feature 200Hz refresh rates and freeview HD tuner.
The 40" Samsung UE40C8000 3D LED TV are part of Samsungs top of the range LED8 series, these spectacular sets feature Samsung's 3D Hyper Real processing engine with shutter glasses technology and can convert 2D footage into 3D action as well as playing standard 3D material. The UE40C8000XK LED Televisions have 200Hz refresh technology and a DLNA enabled LAN connection which is Wi-Fi ready and Samsungs Internet widgets.
Samsung UE40C7000 LED 3D TV's have Samsungs Edge-lit backlight system and their precision dimming technology along with 200Hz refresh technology, so that they produce smooth images with deep darks and high contrast levels. The UE40C7000WK also has Samsungs latest Active 3D technology, which uses shutter glasses. They have 4 HDMI connections, 2 USB and a Wireless ready LAN connection which is DLNA enabled. The UE40C7000 40" 3D LED TVs are available now.
The Samsung UE40C6510 and Samsung UE40C6530 40" LED televisions are part of Samsungs Mid-range 6 series and are available in 2 different colours, with the C6530 model being grey and the C6510 white. They both have Samsungs popular LED Edge-Lit backlighting system, with Motionflow 100Hz refresh technology and Internet@TV, as well as a built in HD tuner and are available now.
Samsung UE40C5800 from Samsung is part of their lower spec but still well equipped series 5 range. They have a built in Freeview HD and DLNA enabled LAN connection that is Wi-Fi ready, so with the aid of Samsungs USB Dongle can easily connect to your home network and they are available now.
The UE40C5100 40" LED TVs from Samsung are full 1080p HD ready and have 4 HDMI connections, 2USB and also feature Samsung's allshare technology, which enables you to easily connect to multiple PC's or mobile devices to view videos, photos or music stored on them. The UE40C5100 sets are Available Now.
2009-2010 Ranges available in 40 inches
The series 6 Samsung LED TV, the 40" UE40B6000 models come with built in freeview tuner and is full HD Ready. They use Samsung's Edge-lit LED backlights to create an extra thin (only 29mm's) design which is perfect for wall mounting.
The next model up from the series 6 is the series 7, Samsung LED Television, which also have 100Hz, refresh rates but also include Samsung content library and wireless enabled internet connectivity. There are two slightly different models in the series 7, they are the Rose red UE40B7000 and the Platinum black UE40B7020.
The top of the range series 8, 40" Samsung LED TVs, the UE40B8000 builds on the 7 series features and comes with 200Hz refresh rates, making it ideal for watching sport and fast action films. It also comes with a very stylish aluminium base plate to set it apart from the lower models.
The 40ZX1 model represents Sony in the 40" LED TV size range, this super thin LCD screen is only 9.9mm's thin and comes with separate wireless media receiver to keep cabling to the television to a minimum. It also features 100hz refresh rates and comes with Sony's Bravia 2 processor.
