The 55LE5900 is LG’s 1st 55” LED TV to be released in the UK with a built in Freeview HD tuner, they also have 100Hz refresh technology. These massive 55 inch LED televisions have a smooth judder free 1080p full HD image and thanks to its LED Edge-lit backlight, all comes in a slim frame that’s less than 3 cm’s deep.

LG’s 55LE5900 also has intelligent sensor 2 technology which can optimises the brightness, colour and contrast of the pictures to match light levels in the room, this helps protect against eyestrain whilst also helping to reduce energy consumption by almost 70%. To make the most of the 55 inch cinematic experience you get 4 HDMI connections, so you can connect your HD devices such as a sky box or surround sound system and there’s even a USB port that is capable of playing HD-DivX files from a USB memory stick.

LG-55LE5900 55 inch LED TVs are also capable of making skype to skype video calls and connecting to internet services such as youtube via your home network, all from the comfort of you own sofa.
