Sharps LC-40LE811E is their 1st 40 inch set that uses their new Quattron 4 colour matrix, which adds a Yellow sub pixel to the standard Red, green and Blue (RGB) matrix to provide 1000 times more colours and shades which can’t be produced on standard matrix televisions.

As part of Sharp’s popular Aquos LED range the LC40LE811 uses their new edge-lit backlighting system for a slim design, which combined with the X-Gen LCD panel and energy saving modes has one of the lowest power consumptions in the industry of just 71 Watts whilst operating.

These 40” Sharp LED TVs have 100Hz refresh rates and E-Motion technology which removes judder from fast sequences, to provide a high quality smooth picture with fast response times. The Sharp LC40LE811 also come with a built in DVB-T2 freeview HD tuner for the best picture quality, with over 140 free channels available in most areas. They also have a USB media player which supports DivX HD video playback as well as pictures and music.

To top it of the 40 inch Sharp Quattron LC-40LE811E Aquos LED TVs have a 2.1 channel HD sound system with a built in sub that provides a sound quality which you would expect from a much larger set and they are available now from selected retailers.
