Sharp unveils New LE810, LE820 & LE900 LED Backlit LCD TV ranges

Sharp have unveiled three new range topping series of its AQUOS LED TV ranges for 2010, the new series will come with a four colour matrix (Red,Green,Blue and Yellow) which is completely unique to Sharp and offers unprecedented colour quality on screen. Unlike previous models which featured a non-local dimming backlight Sharp's new Aquos LED TVs will be LED edge-lit, allowing them to be only 1.6 inches thick and will be available in sizes ranging from 32" all the way up to a range topping 60" version.
Sharp's four colour matrix is an industry first and the addition of yellow to the RGB pixel framework allows the new sharp LED HDTV's to better accurately reproduce colours and is capable of produceing over 1 trillion different colours to provide better quality pictures.
In the UK, the LC-LE921E and LC-LE821E will be available in 40", 46" and 60" sizes while the LC-LE811E will be available in 32", 40" and 46", as per previous models, they will all be HD-ready 1080p and use Sharp's X-Gen LCD screen, which has been designed to improve the perception of depth and clarity of every image, whilst reducing the energy consumption of the television. In addition the new screens will have 100Hz technology and the LE921 sets will feature 200Hz refresh rates to clearly define even the fastest moving images.
