Sharp have recently revealed that the new models will include their award winning AQUOS LCD technology with a full LED backlight system. Expect amazing picture quality from the unique double-domed LEDs which are multi fluorescent and arrayed behind the entire screen. As we have come to expect from LED backlit LCD tv's they are all Full HD 1080p models with built in freeview and low energy consumption.

Unfortunately sharp will not be using local dimming technology on the new ranges, but expect to see see it in later LED TV ranges. Expect to see the LE600 and LE700 models on the shelves in the uk from August with prices starting around £750.
