The high end 46" and 55" Regza SV models are equipped with RGB LED backlights which will use local dimming technology to darken the corresponding areas in pictures to produce sharp, vivid images and 10bit processing to give a dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1.

The new Regza SV models will also come with Toshiba's meta brain which controls the resolution+ and Active Vision M200HD features. Resolution+ displays standard definition (SD) images at near high definition quality, with improved detail and texture. Whilst Toshiba's Active Vision M200HD smoothes the flow of images introducing intermediate frames, which provide fast-moving images with no image judder at 200HZ refresh rates.
